# Ziru Labs > Ziru Labs roots artificial intelligence in verifiable silicon. The trust layer for AI: hardware-rooted, silicon-level verification addressing physical extraction, bus-level interception, firmware compromise, and hardware-enforced governance. Ziru Labs is a deep-tech company founded in 2025 (Delaware C-corporation) headquartered in the United States. The company develops a hardware-rooted trust layer for artificial intelligence — silicon-level primitives that are additive to existing silicon-vendor confidential-computing offerings (Intel SGX/TDX, AMD SEV-SNP, NVIDIA confidential computing, Google Tensor Core) and that address the threat surfaces those programs do not cover at the hardware layer: physical extraction, bus-level interception, firmware compromise, and hardware-enforced governance. The first commercial expression of the primitive is Project Phoenix, the security-domain launch of the trust layer. The company publishes substantive analytical research under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 with citation-anchor permalink IDs. The research program covers the trust layer for AI, the standards window opened by Section 1513 of the FY2026 NDAA (16 June 2026), the AI infrastructure stack model, sovereign and allied considerations, and the founder perspective on the category.
